Can you apply for OHIP by using PR confirmation email (Portal1)? or does it need to be eCOPR/PR

It went really smooth, officer just asked few questions: Purpose of visit, how long she is staying, and if we both work. I made sure to book her a return ticket as well and I think that helped

October 26 - Received PR Portal Email, will be submitting everything same day.

Portal email mentions if i am the representative then i must forward email to applicant. Im the sponsor and representative, will i be able to reply back? or does this only apply for a paid representative?

Alhamdulilah, just got more updates. October 6: BG completed and COPR document number generated.

Officer had concerns due to not seeing any rukhsati celebration. I just made it clear we don't follow a Pakistani tradition and showed proof of our honeymoon. I got Pre-Arrival letter a few hours after submitting the ADR, so God Willing the application seems to be in process again.
