We have the same VO Manila. My wife received here prearrival at the end of May 2023 and got her passport request and visa on the 2nd week of June.

Not sure of the exact date, possibly between May 27 to June 13. I had a representative working on our application.

Passport submitted on June 16 2023 Passport received June 24, 2024

Yeah I agree. we never received any update after doing medical in February. Next update we received after the medical request was the pre arrival letter which we received at the end of May

Right sorry I forgot to add it. February 9 is when I received Sponsorship Approval. It was 7 days after getting AOR

Our application is being processed in Ottawa. When they sent me our SA, it says my file will be sent to a different VO but it did not say which VO. When we received our prearrival Letter, the letter came from Ottawa VO so I assumed our application is being processed in Ottawa.

I think its a possible way to tell that the application is close to getting approved or has been approved since the letter states "These services are only available to you before you enter Canada" and it also says that IRCC funds these settlement services to help you settle in Canada.

Was it 93% approval rate and not 98%? but I guess we won't know for sure the actual approval rate until people start their application and sharing their experiences and approvals.

I believed you'll get a letter from IRCC requesting it.

Pre Arrival Letter received May 27 2023. Just waiting for PPR now. Hopefully soon

I think it mostly depends on how complicated the application is. Nobody knows but the more complicated it is, the longer it will take I think. When did the PA did the medical? Our medical request came out the same time as yours.

Not sure how long it takes to make 1st PR Card now but when my sister-in-law and nephew came to Canada, they waited at least 3 months to receive their PR Card
