Wow the min CRS score hasn't been that high for a general draw since last August, right after they started doing regular draws again

With 4300 ITAs already sent this week, I predict a 300-500 ITA draw for Transportation or Agriculture

That could very well be true, my estimate was based on the percentage of STEM in the pool during the first STEM draw, but different CRS ranges probably have different percentages of STEM applicants

This could be huge for STEM folks! 12,000 invites might bring the score down to 430's or even 420's

Their occupations were on the list, it seems like it should have been easier but just didn't seem to work out. They tried for years.

May I ask why the NAFTA visa is considered a free ticket? I understand that it makes it possible for Canadians to find work in the US, but some of my Canadian-born friends have tried this and it is not necessarily so easy. US employers need to prove why they can't hire a US citizen for the job...

Wow, amazing that they have already sent so many invitations for French speakers. I am guessing maybe they are doing these draws early as there may be some overlap of French speakers in the NOC category draws? After reaching such a low CRS score so quickly, hopefully they will focus on NOC...

It seems they may do more category draws this week, with the low general draw today. I wonder if they will do healthcare and STEM again, or move on to some of the other categories.

If they draw another 1500 healthcare today I estimate CRS cutoff around 465 If they draw another 1000 STEM I estimate CRS cutoff around 475

Based on the initial healthcare and STEM draws, it seems approximately 4% of applicants are in healthcare and 14% of applicants are in STEM. This may change of course as you go down to lower CRS scores, but interesting to estimate how many applicants we are behind for these draws :)

You may be waiting a while if you just want to wait on an FSW draw with that score. With the targeted draws it may go faster, but you are already lucky enough to have two PNP invites and that is closer to a guarantee of getting in. Both provinces are great places to live, Ontario has larger...

    How to boost CRS score?

If he has a 3 year degree from the Philippines that should count for something. Along with the college diploma it may count as "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years" which is worth 128 points. His 2 year college course alone would...

I'm honestly curious how many people seem to so easily get 450 and higher. My partner has good credentials and is currently stuck at 438: - Under 30 - Bachelor's degree - 3+ years foreign work experience - Only lost 3 points for IELTS He is lacking points for a job offer, Canadian experience...

According to the candidate breakdown, if nobody else applies for express entry and they continue inviting the same number per round, you will get ITA 3 rounds from now. The risk factor is how many people are applying, and what scores they have. Also if they start doing draws based on occupation.
