Yes same here. They're officially on strike now, and the government announcements are very frustrating. They'll be rescheduling oaths, and not processing passport applications except for emergencies. They are already dealing with backlogs and barely just cleared the passport backlog that they've...

According the new government announcement about this, oaths will be rescheduled. It is not clear if they're referring to the in-person ones only. They are also confirming that passports processing will be impacted, and not all locations would be operational.

I really hope that happens.. Once it gets to that point in the application, they should just remove the human factor and automate the process. Because this is just causing delays to people for no reason! They don't apply any logic in their process nor that they have a first in first out system...
