general question to those who have linked the pr cards with gckey, what does its say in the country of issue next to the travel document number in gckey? mine is my home country. my passport is also new and issued in Canada.

don't edit photos. just get it done by a professional. I'm not sure whether they do it or not. but the details of the photo can be traced from the properties and that probably is the reason why they ask if it is done by a professional or not. we have made it this far. 15 - 20 dollars is worth...

i have another friend who has in the same situation. unlike me, he didn't receive ppr along with the portal instructions email. he received that one week ago. no updates so far from him.

I have been told that it's advised to keep the passport updated at least 6 months before its expiry. mine was supposed to expire this may. I gave it to update end of September and got it at the end of November. assuming that you already have a copr. probably won't affect you much. hopefully.
