    yeah, this was the unique decision from IRcc. After passport stamp they cancelled my application and with all this factors sometimes I thought I would have gone to depression lol.

    hahaha yes, that was tough year for me but I went through. I had a belief that I will get it at the right time. The reason of cancelation they gave me is your file needs pending background check. That's it.

    I applied from Pakistan. 4 May 2022 apply date. I got my visa on 10 August 2022. On 18 August, they cancelled my visa. Put my file in security check. 01 May 2023, I got my ppr again after security check got completed.

    My study permit was canceled (not refused) after issuance and file send to background check on 18 August 2022 and til now, am waiting. Is mandamus the final solution? anyone who has gone through similar background stuck situation and have used mandamus, kindly inbox me please
