I did check again but there is nothing regarding e certificate in my test invite.

I just received an email from CIC containing instructions to download an electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate. The strange thing is that they never asked me whether I would like to receive an e-certificate or not. The status of my oath has not started yet, and they have not provided any...

I believe you are safer if you apply in Paper. Paper applications generally move faster than online ones.

Is your processing office Niagara as well? I took the test yesterday and lets see how long does it take for them to verify the test results.

AOR: April 8th Background completed on October 19th.

I got update for test invite today as well. My processing office is Niagara Fall.

I am in the same situation. My background check was completed on October 19th and I have received no updates since. It seems that this is the case for anyone who was processed through the Niagara Falls office.
