I did but I have yet to receive the new permit asked an agent Alan’s she said to wait till the 30th of this month if you still don’t get it then apply for an extension the normal way…such a waste

I applied on May 7th for both my husband and myself ..I’m still waiting for any sort of correspondence since July 2022…hopefully the rest of us waiting here back soon

Hey guys, anyone who applied for the work permit extension that opened up in April ..did you receive the new work permit already? how long is that going to take …I haven’t received mine yet so just wondering if I should be calling IRCc to figure this shit too

They put a note on my file in February when I first called. Last month when I called again and asked whatever happened to the note that added to my file, the agent said we can add notes to the file for officer but it dsnt necessarily mean that they will make a priority and view and start working...

I submitted a schedule A form that was requested in July 2022 for my spouse ..and the status of my BG check and medical has changed..I’m just praying it’s not a glitch but an actual update

My background check status also changed to N/A and my medical also changed from ‘passed’ to ‘not required’. However, my consultant said the bcg check could just be a glitch or it could just be cz of the strike so not very hopeful news ☹️
