I followed these instructions to the letter and it worked very successfully. It just took several months for them to process in Mexico. I also did the instructions for living outside of Mexico. Link to canadian irc page.

I forgot to add that they were shipped/received in mid February 2023, not sure if that was taken into account. Other threads have indicated maybe 3-6 months before they get added to the file, hope I hear from them soon!

I never received any acknowledgement from the embassy, the only acknowledgement I received was from my courier saying that they were successfully delivered. They never responded to my email for a request if they had been received.

Actually I would like to rephrase this question, how long did it take for the IRCC to acknowledge that they received the envelope with the fingerprints to the Immigration section in Mexico City?

Did anybody ever find an answer recently for this question?
