I am international student. My work permit allowed to work no more than 20 hours per week. On my work they scheduled me 21.5 hours ( included 1 hour and 30 min as unpaid breaks). I don't have idea if it's legal to do so, or later i am going to have a problem . Please help me find out

Hello everyone. I have a question, I am part time international student . The employer make me schedule of 21 hour and 30 min. Instead of 20 hours. On my request to remove the hours, said that this schedule includes 30 minutes unpaid breaks. Is it correct? If breaks are unpaid it will not count...
