Yes, it actually took about 7 weeks. I had applied for and received a tourist visa prior to my PR application so maybe they had already done my background check so for the second time round it was quicker, don’t know really:)

No you don’t have to register French as your first language to receive a Francophone draw invitation. My first language is English and my French is B2 Level and have received invitations 3 times before although I had to decline all of them. This time my score is 459 and I still haven’t received...

It is the date you submit your application that counts.

It calculâtes your work experience when you receive ITA and once again the day you submit your PR application. As far as I know the date you created your profile is irrelevant.
