    I applied on the same day but got eligibility and prearrival in Feb. Tbh I don't think it means anything. It's still been 8 months and nothing on my file. Some people don't get even get eligibility or prearrival but get P1 email so unless it's passed normal processing it doesn't mean anything...

    Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done. Your correct application was sent in 2023 so it's been a year. You'll have to wait. The 2022 application doesn't apply at all.

    One of the main things about claiming asylum is never to use your country's passport. Your asylum could be affected if you apply or use your home passport. You'll need a travel document to travel out of Canada but never to your home country.

    No, it has not been flagged as urgent processing. It's just been noted on file. I had the same issue but unfortunately since we are within the processing time, nothing can be done.

    Getting or not getting eligibility doesn't mean anything. I got mine in Feb 2024 and still waiting. The process is 2 years and you just passed a year. Unfortunately, you'll have to keep waiting.

    Okay, then it was updated. Yours might be a peculiar case as you claim you didn't update the expiry. For everyone else, you MUST update sin expiry with Service Canada after getting a new work permit.

    When did you get the new work permit? If you got it 2024, the expiry date has to be in 2026.

    I think you'll get your PR soon. It's been more than 24 months for you. I got my pre-arrival Feb but still waiting for my PR. But I applied Feb 2023.

    Did you check your sin on the my service Canada account? I did mine online a week ago and got the update in 2 days.
