VO Etobicoke ECopr: Jan 8 PR GU1 (final decision date appears): Feb 22 At least the photo is good, otherwise could be another round of 2 months.

So the PRTD application is basically to make sure that you can board your flight assuming that you have no other Canada visa still active. If you are a PR and "walk" through the land border or arrive to Canada with a private jet :)), this is OK right since as you mentioned CBSA has your real status.

It seems that Etobicoke is quite slow on PR card prcessing but I think you received GU1, which is good and maybe the wait will only for a few more days.

Tough time for the long PGWP processing time back then, we are now PR. Hehe.

I meant nothing has changed at all, the status of the card application is just Submitted.

I received ECOPR from Etobicoke on Jan 8, PR card application linked but nothing has changed until today, Feb 7. The average processing time for PR card has gone up to 23 days, from 18 days. I hope I am not the exceptional case.

I did not do KAI, but I do one follow up for P1 email as I forgot to include height and eye color in the first reply.
