Finally, after 6 months, it got approved. Application: Jan 18. Approval: Jul 19. 3-year PGWP, no e-mail, just a ghost update that went back to "submitted" after I checked it. Now it says it is approved. I hope you, folks still waiting for an update, receive your permits soon, before 180 days...

I read on IRCC webpage that the processing times they publish are based on the average for 80% of the applications. I suppose that the people that surpassed this average are the 20% left, you and me included.

I applied on Jan 18th too. No updates yet.

Let's hope they don't forget about the ones that applied in January and are still waiting.

I just read that the minister is expecting that processing times will come back to normal by the end of this year. By then, we will have our permits and TRVs. HOPEFULLY!

I raised on yesterday although I think it might not be useful. However, I just don't want them to think that I gave up and am no longer interested in getting the permit. :(

Yes. I just checked and it seems it is not working properly. :-/

You applied for the PGWP while your study permit was valid. Therefore, you'll have implied status until a decision on your PGWP is made, which means you can keep working.

I've been noticing more approvals on Wednesday and Thursday. Hang in there.

I thought the same as you. However I tried both ways, but none worked so far.

That's interesting! Did you mention your status in the cover letter or during the interview?
