    So, I did not get a receipt number from CIC, 2 months after mailing the PR renewal application. What I am worried is if they misplaced my application. Without a receipt number from them, I have practically no way of finding the status online, right?

    Thanks much kelKel. From Canada Post tracking number, I can see my application was delivered to CIC. But how do we track the status of PR card renewal application online using CIC website ECAS? (like we can do for the citizenship application).
