For me it took 7 days, Processed on June 16 and OCI received via Purolater today June 23. Details in my signature. This completes my long journey for immigration documents. Thank you everyone and best of luck.

Was your status “Passport ready for dispatched” before changing to “Dispatched via purolator”, since mine is “Passport ready for dispatched” for last 2 days and it has the purolator tracking # in comments and BLS confirmed today that it has been dispatched.

It means its being collected from Consulate to BLS. I had asked they said its in transit. Normally in 1-2 days it will be ready for collection.

Your OCI was Ready for collection on June 10 and you are receiving it today after 10 days , do you know why it’s so much delayed?

Anyone whose application got processed status at Consulate site on June 15, did you see any update at BLS site, how long it normally takes for BLS (Brampton) to mark it ready for pickup or shipped after OCI is processed and received at Toronto at Consulate site ?

Around 3 weeks from BLS submit to UNDER PROCESS at Consulate and another 3 weeks from UNDER PROCESS to PROCESSED.

Mine showing Processed now at Consulate site. My wife and kid’s status was processed yesterday so as of today all are processed now. Now waiting for BLS to dispatch.

It takes 2-3 weeks for your application to start showing at consulate site as acknowledged after you have submitted at BLS, and its normally another 3 week from your acknowledgement date showing at Consulate site to change to Processed.

They would verify and return. OCI is a separate passport like document so your Canadian passport is not required the whole time.

Guys I have been checking mine (assuming all family member will have same status) since morning mine didn’t updated but I just checked for my wife and kid and their status is PROCESSED, Last update as “Document received at Toronto”. I am getting hopeful probably the batch has started picking...

You can expect update from June 20 (3 weeks from you acknowledgement).

Mine has acknowledgement date of May 25 and it’s also showing Under Process. Looks like they are not in mood to process on time

Oath date, you are Canadian on that date even if you never apply for passport. Passport is just for travel outside the country to show your nationality.

Mine is OCI submitted at BLS (in person): May 6 Consulate site acknowledgement date: May 25 It seems to be standard 21 days to change to PROCESSED status so probably June 15. But I have lost faith with BLS as when they will deliver (or will mess up) and also if it does not get updated then June...

You should be good, what I heard people are getting entry visa in 1 week worst case 2week. I am on same boat but unfortunately my travel date is June 28 so I am applying visa on Monday if I dont find any update on OCI status.

I see my travel on risk unless I see an update on OCI by this week so planning to apply for entry visa as a backup. I have a walk-in appointment on Monday. Can you confirm if BLS Brampton is forcing to pay return shipping or allowing for in-person pickup for visa ?

I am worried :( last you mentioned your status was Ready to dispatch on May 24 and you receive it on a June 8 !!

Consulate/MEA takes around 3 weeks after you have submitted at BLS to reflect status.
