    eligibility review started Apr 5 The status when i login still shows processing is ongoing for all the categories except biometrics. It does not seem to be updated as it still shows that background checks is in progress

    I think if you show your strong legal status( PR or citizenship) ; your financial docs if you are sponsoring their trip and show proof of place of stay ( your residence etc); that should be enough. The key will be your financial docs;

    The update i see today is - We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. So assuming that the processing has started for my application
