No, legal name change from marriage, had to apply for a new passport. I'm travelling in a few months, but worst comes to worse I can still use my old passport. And I figured if I ask for it back I can always apply again when I get my plane ticket, and hopefully I'd be able to get it rushed then...

Like many here I also failed to specify a travel date when I submitted my application by mail. The thing is my old passport was not close to expiration (still many years left). Would it be possible to call and cancel my application and have them send everything back? My CC hasn't been charged yet.
