We are CEC inland. They asked for additional documents in November and we uploaded early December 2021. The status changed shortly after. Nothing since then.

I had the same status changes and no updates for months afterwards. Not sure what it means.

I reach 7 months end of April. Let's hope that it means that they have a more accurate estimate for their processing now. Maybe that helps them organize better and the wait times will be more predictable.

I just saw that the processing time for CEC has been updated to 7 months. The 6 months were not changed in a long time, although it always took longer. Do you believe that by updating this IRCC is making a statement that they have their backlog under control now? Otherwise, why would they bother...
