So, here is what it takes, 50 days. I saw an excel sheet in some other threads where people have been updating their timelines. From what i noticed, it takes 48-50 days to get the result. Plan accordingly. Also don't send your passport back to NYC VAC. LA does things faster.

Oh well, i missed to include the money order, do i had to send it. Wonder how long it takes from here.

I got my PPR on Feb 11th, my package reached NYC VAC on 14th. Looks like they will open the package after 8 working days. Its totally not a wise decision to mail the passport to NYC VAC, mail yours to LA VAC to get prompt response.
