Hi my mother needs to extend her travel visitor visa so she can stay longer than 6 months. for proof of funds can i attach my bank statements? Also would this affect her future visa applications?

just don't apply via mail. Goto the Passport office and line up - make sure you have proof of travel within <45 business days

@flyingpbandj I would suggest going an hour before your appointment - definitely before 11 am - i still had to wait 4 hours for my turn so advice you go as early as possible

@flyingpbandj congrats - youve been waiting for the oath for a while! I went to PP office today and they are accommodating more walk ins, hence very few appointments available now- so go there early with a confirmed travel booking - dont apply by mail

submitted my app at the passport office surrey today - Despite an appointment, had to wait 4 hrs inside. Relieved to be done finally

@armoured thanks - glad to hear they take you straight to processing room. Did they ask questions about the need for travel ? or they just look at your itinerary/ticket and approve?

is it just me or are there fewer appointments available? Im looking one for my girlfriend and i cannot find anything are the wait times at the offices any better?

dont be - just show them PR Card and another ID - dont need passport

@Jack-Can they ask for PR card and another proof of id - dont you have a drivers license or health card? They dont need COPR
