I believe the are just asking because Gulf countries like UAE do not accept RTD

I waited for 2months after portal 1 request then sent two emails to ircc requesting updates. I replied twice to portal one, no response then I decided to copy their email and send a brand new email to them, the following day I got portal 2 request, after about a week I got my ecopr. Still...

Hi. I am in the same situation. I got my portal 1 request on March 6th and nothing yet. You are even fortunate that your dependant got their passport request. As for mine, Nada
