I submitted my visa on 2 Dec and did my biometrics on 23rd Dec and passed medical exam on 5th Jan

Yes, if you have got the letter of acceptance from your University/College for sure you can continue the process but be sure to have funds for the number of years of course you have taken. eg: if your course is for 3years then u must pay 1year tuition fees and show financial funds for the rest...
