Hi, I thought of posting an update. We have written to our local MP in Canada.. also, my husband could speak to an agent in IRCC, they said our application was still under process, the extra info that we received was that it is currently at Edmonton office, and that they don't require any docs...

Thanks for your reply, and your suggestion. We will surely write to the local MP. My husband has been trying to talk to an agent at IRCC many times, but due to high call volume, it seems, they are not transferring calls to any live agent now.
