IRCC automated email is generated after 2 business days - normally this email is received after business hours. It is a little annoyed but you will get automated confirmation soon.

Your logic makes sense... Your "may" word creates lots of sense too.

That was an easy fix - phew. The statement you made above "For you guys that got ghost updates and didn't see anything when you logged on, it may mean your file has passed the first completeness check", is this your own assumption or is it thru the Immigration officer?
