Congratulations. I just don't understand it though - ours was received 3 months before yours and we are still "in process" with no indication of it being ready any time soon. Wish I knew what their process was and how to expedite cards that are 'stuck' somehow.

I can't get into GCKey anymore. I used to be able to check on there, but now they say I have to have a verification or something. I have been checking the status online, but not through GCKey.

You can cross any land border without your PR card as long as you are in a private vehicle. If there's a possibility of you flying to the USA, then taking a cab either to or across the border, you will be able to enter Canada.

What number did you call to speak to the nice lady who actually took action? We called (received August 6, Processing begun Nov. 8 and nothing since then....). We'd love to have someone look a little further into it and maybe get the ball rolling.

It shouldn't be a problem, though I don't know for sure. I'd advise to travel back with the receipt showing you have applied for your renewal.
