Sorry for confusion. When I said Yes, I meant kids had to do medical checks as well. I applied for my family and they requested medical for both my 10 and 5 year-old kids.

Count from 67 results today, 9 from Mar/Apr applicants, 35 from 1-15/May applicants, 22 from 16-24/May applicants, only 1 from 31-May (87% for May). Seems that IRCC is focusing on cleaning up May backlog.

As I count manually from PPR results on 4-Aug, there is still around more than 70% from Mar-Apr and 1st week of May applicants, only nearly 30% from 2nd week of May and later. Those who applied in the 2nd half of May or later should be patient for another 2 wks.

I applied on 26 May. My spouse medical passed on 5-Jul while myself passed on 11-Jul. You might be the same with mine.

Sounds like people got their PPRs and never come back with this forum. :)
