Has anyone else been invited for a interview? What can I expect, what do they ask ?

No, they don’t! The only reason I can think of is that I missed a 3 week trip in my physical présence calculator.. I was still 6 months over the minimum requirement though.

I contacted my MP multiple times, I sent an email a week to the convocation email that CIC has, I sent an email a week to the webform… I am not saying I got my test invite because of this, but it doesn’t hurt to try. You have nothing to lose

I received my test invite early July and completed the exam on July 28th. Citizenship test status was set to complete on the 29th. No updates since, everything else is in progress..

I just received my ATIP notes. It says my application is in the archive section of the Montreal citizenship office.. does anyone have a similar case or know what this means ? To date nothing has been completed except my criminality checks and my background check. Not sure what to do at this point.

yeah I am still waiting.. Montreal office. Next step is to file a mandamus once your applications passes the 27 month processing time.

And are you also experiencing a delay with your application ? Are you still waiting on the citizenship test ?

did you live in the Middle East by any chance? Are you a single male applicant? Did you travel a lot? Any other reason that would explain the delay?

June 2020 citizenship applicant and still waiting for test. Anyone else in a similar position? I got a ghost update on January 27th of this month, does anyone else know why this happens? Nothing changed on the tracker besides the date of when the application was updated.

correlation is not causation.. in any case, good that you got your DM, but i would be cautious with recommending this approach to other applicants.. they can make your life way more complicated than it has to be. You can be firm without being rude.

That’s a terrible strategy.. being rude will not get you anywhere.. more reason to delay your application
