I also am wondering. What is the New portal? I thought portal was for PR applications. I applied online by logging in with GC key...does this mean the application will be processed slower?

I know something from 10 years ago, I applied for visitor record extention for 2 months extra on someones visa, and we never got responce, left normally no questions. Supprisingly 1 whole year later I go a response that the extention was approved.
