Hi!
I received a NOI from the tech draw on Feb 2nd, 2023, however, I got the points for CEC and my CRS is no 522.
I still have not accepted the invitation from the OINP and I would like to hear your thoughts, on whether I accept it or just wait for the FWS or CEC draw.
I did not because it asked for address which I don't have.
I just choose visit for business or pleasure I think, then I explained everything in the LOE. If you're using a consultant, you should run this with him/her.
If your dependent is going to stay in Canada for more than 6 months (the length of your contract) they need to provide medicals, unless they're exempt.
I have another child whom is 2 years old, and we had to provide medicals for her VV as well.
@ram0326 I'm in the same position, WP approved and passport stamped, applied for my newborn on Feb 9th, medica passed on Feb 15th.
We're all in our home country waiting for babies visa.
If I get and update I'll post my timeline here;)
Hey @Believer16m I had my biometrics upfront before even getting the LMIA.
Not sure if it would be the same for you in your region, you'd probably need to check with someone going thru the same process in your region or with a consultant.
Also if you need biometrics you'll need a letter that...
If that's the case I think the marriage certificate with the appropriate translation is all you need.
I think proof are only needed when is common law union, however each case is different so you might want to hear to what others have to say also.
Hey @Believer16m Thanks, Yes the LMIA application was submitted on Aug 6th, some additional docs were sent on Sept 3rd.
I'll file the WP today, will circle back on this thread once I provide my biometrics.
