Its a letter basically giving out some links to prepare for a new life in Canada and some resources you can use to make it easier. basically a step before you get a Passport request and you can ignore this letter as it doesn’t require any action on your part.

You should already have AOR if you’re so late in the stages of the application. Next step after medical should be Pre arrival letter and finally Passport request

Yes, special cases can drag on for longer and it also differs with different countries. Once you get AOR it should be smooth sailing. Usually refusals don’t take time. Approvals do, if its any consolation. Best of luck to you!

I got an email. My cic account did not get any updates after BIL. I got an email with portal instructions.

S Same happened to me, but got portal email yesterday. Dw, I didn’t get any updates after mep. Not even biometrics or any GU.

Same… 21 Sep aor. Mep and BIL. No updates after that.

I did on Friday and got BIL on the following monday.

Anyone give biometrics but their status still says we don’t need your biometrics?

Thats weird. I gave my biometrics 6 days ago but there is no update in my profile. It still says we’ll let you know when you need biometrics but i have BIL on my profile lol.
