You should already have AOR if you’re so late in the stages of the application. Next step after medical should be Pre arrival letter and finally Passport request
Yes, special cases can drag on for longer and it also differs with different countries.
Once you get AOR it should be smooth sailing. Usually refusals don’t take time. Approvals do, if its any consolation.

Thats weird. I gave my biometrics 6 days ago but there is no update in my profile. It still says we’ll let you know when you need biometrics but i have BIL on my profile lol.
