Hello everyone, I submitted application mid November. and in March they asked to re fill the Use of representative form which I sent back on 2nd April. but my application still shows returned in the PR Portal. not able to link the application either. is it normal? my parents came to Canada...

hello, my parents are coming to Canada 1st week of May on visitor visa. Do I need to inform CIC? if yes, do I email them? I do have a file number as they requested new copy of IMM5476 Use of Representative 2 weeks ago (which I sent via email) and ghost email.

you or principle applicant must have received another email to fill the form again. and they would have sent the form to send back with the new form.

finally got the ghost email yesterday. and they also asked to full the IMM5476 USE OF REPRESENTATIVE again as I forgot to sign the representative section (no idea how I did that as I check the whole file at least 5 time before submitting) does any know what do we fill in the "Name of the office...

i applied on Nov 17th and no update since. i was trying to link GC key. I believe I had made an account in December and now when I login, I do see option on right to update password, security question or revoke GC key. but when I hip on the Continue. it keeps on taking me to main page. anyone...

i would say write a letter of explanation that you have submitted marriage certificate copy and as you are married IMM5409 is not applicable in your case. and then sign at the bottom. and submit scanned copy. just for your peace of mind.

we used our phone and send message on whatsapp. then open whatsapp web on your laptop/computer and the copy and paste

no need to worry they usually ask for this information during the process. we had the same case when we filled my in laws application and they asked for our marriage certificate later. they wont punish you for missing documents.

I have a friend who works in an immigration firm. they are only scanning first and last page and any other page which has stamp. if no stamp then only first and last page. I have only done the pages with stamp with first and last page. rest if someone wants they can also scan all the pages.

I don't think you need to submit your mother's birth certificate. they will go with passport date of birth for her age. in regards to name. you can make an affidavit that your mom will need to sign and get attested. as i had the same issue. send me your email address i can send you the sample...

once all the info on IMM008 has been filled . is there any way to get a pdf of the filled form or any way to print it?

you need to print and sign it. and then scan and send to your parents so they can sign. i am going to be mailing my printed form as my parents are not comfortable with printing their and then signing it.

quick question, I have forgotten if I had put my mother or my father as principal applicant when we filled up the form to invite in 2020 in the lottery system, I believe it was my father but not 100% sure. Anyone has any idea?

Finally got the invitation for my parents this morning. 10:55am Toronto F2F Still can't believe it. I had been waiting for last 4 years. I hope the best for everyone who is still waiting. I think it should not be any kind of lottery and every parent need to be considered. No fun waiting for this...
