I did not submit an LOE, just submitted application and it changed the profile

I was not able to update the profile after receiving 600 points. After receiving ITA and submitting the application it did ask me to reconfirm everything in the profile. That is when I changed it

I am not sure how difficult it will be to prove common law so I cannot advise.

I updated spouse as accompanying after getting the 600 points and did not face any issue. This is the approach I took after asking an immigration consultant(Kubeir).

I am not familiar with Canadian education points. But if it is the same mechanism (recalculating points based on changes) you should be able to remove it. This is my guess

Yes, that's correct. But before I do that I need to send an email to OINP requesting for this change. They don't need to change anything in the nomination so mostly they will say you can make the change in EE profile. (This is what an immigration consultant told me)
