I agree there needs to be a standard processing time given to ALL international visa offices. Shouldn’t be that some ppl get theirs in days and others are expected to wait weeks or months because we’re in a country that’s overworked or less efficient. Something really isn’t right. I hope ur MP...

Can you get in touch with ur MP so they get to the bottom of it? Keeping the passport for that long isn’t fair

Not sure, I’ve been seeing various timelines. From 10 days to some months. Myself, submitted passport Feb 23rd and still waiting.

Thanks. They can be contacted but if you’re lucky to get a response it’s just a generic message. So I don’t even want to stress myself with them.

I doubt it. We can try reaching out to them but I don’t think that’ll speed anything up. We jus have to keep praying next week brings good news.

It’s hard to say an exact amount, but it will be some months from this point forward. To give you an idea, I submitted application Feb 2021, after sponsor eligibility, the application was sent to Accra in June 2021, and up to now we’re still waiting for everything to be completely finished...

It’s ridiculous! Some visa offices send it back in a matter of days. But we must wait weeks and months dragging out this process longer.

Sent to vfs Feb 23rd, and IRCC received it Mar 3rd. Haven’t heard anything from them since that last update that it was processing at IRCC. Wbu?
