    Thanks. It looks like they're allowing it now and doesn't have to be very special circumstances, I guess if you're on holiday, they may require you to come back but if for medical and work, they allow it. which is great news!

    Thanks for replying, just curious was your job for a Canadian company or nothing to do with Canada? The reason Im asking is I might get a job in my home country. and how long did it take from test to oath for you?

    oh so you were overseas for your job? do you have a copy of email saying that you are allowed to take outside Canada? what office is this and what's the email address? Was it via zoom or did you go to high commission or consul? Thanks for posting.

    Hi Thank you for sharing this, so does that mean we can just have visitor status while waiting if our work permit will expire soon? because IRCC is just saying temporary resident status all throughout nothing else and visitor is also temporary resident status, but I am not sure. Thanks
