Hey guys, AOR Nov 2019 here. It’s been 3 months since I’ve sent my passport to the embassy as per IRCC’s request. Why PPR to COPR taking this long? What are the usual wait times from PPR to COPR nowadays?

Canadian Embassy received my passport fine. So VFS did their part. The only problem is it's been 2.5 months and the embassy still haven't returned my passport... I phoned them, emailed them.. Nada.. Does anybody know how long does it roughly take from PPR to COPR these days?

Hey Folks, I received a Ready for Visa email on 8 Feb 2022. The Canadian Embassy received my passport on 11 February. It’s been over 2 months. How long does it take from here? :confused:

Okay IRCC asked for my expired criminal records after being quiet for 2 years. I'm thinking that's a good sign. What do you think? AOR - Nov 2019

No. Last time I checked with my agent (a couple of weeks ago) I was told it was still at the background check stage. Still in progress.

Well my case is very clean though.

No because my immigration agent has access and they told me they will let me know when they hear an update. Also I haven't applied for GCMS notes. I am hearing they are kind of useless?

Does anybody know why they don't process the applications in a "first in / first out" manner ? My AOR is Nov 2019 and I am seeing a lot of newbies who applied after me getting their FSW PRs..

It's "In Progress" lol ...since Nov 2019. I can't check as my agent is looking at it.

Folks, I have been reading about a lot of different topics. Going back to the title, what is the current processing status for FSWs? How many PRs are being issues daily? How are things going is it still frozen?

I don't understand this. I am a FSW AOR November 2019. I have zero news. There is 8 months difference and others are being processed before me. What's the logic behind this?

So how do I know if I need to do my medicals again or not? I gave them all the way back in September 2019.
