Wait, IRCC is supposed to create an account for your on their Permanent Resident portal and invite you in before you even land? I had to go the route of mailing stuff to their office via VFS global and they mailed a paper version of the COPR back. There was no mention of a portal or an eCOPR...

NY, moved to Manilla checking in. I also just got my pre-arrival letter! I wish the google spreadsheet had a column for the pre-arrival letter so we could see the general timelines between receiving that letter and "decision made"

I just got a reply from the webform inquiry saying my case is in queue at the Manila Philippines office after being told many months ago it was forwarded to the New York office. Is there any reason it would have gone to the Philippines?

I went to a Service Canada office to give my biometrics and they only took my fingerprints, but no photo. When I asked them about the photo, they said they're not doing them because of taking off masks during Covid. Does that sound right? Is IRCC temporarily not requiring photos for biometrics...
