Yep I got the portal email, I uploaded all info and got my e-CoPR documents for all family members and me.. I’ve officially withdrew my work permit extension application

My friend has applied for a new SIN and he got it with his eCOPR, he is still waiting for this physical PR card. Go to Service Canada they should be able to help!

I wouldn't ruffle feathers cuz I have shown the intention to move province after my PR.

Mine is expiring on Aug, i have already asked my company to work with a lawyer to get my WP extended. I think on a safer side to maintain your status you could extend.. i am cutting it really close!

I enquired about my application today, same update since last time i Called them, eligibility passed, security in progress.. my visa office is Ottawa,, any other folks here with VISA office as Ottawa in the same boat?

I called IRCC last week and got confirmation that I passed the eligibility (this was the only update i got).. no update on the actual portal though.. just a word from the IRCC agent. I do not know my processing center.

I am not sure that is the case, I had my biometrics given with my work permit and I am still waiting in the same boat. I guess, if you have more years of work experience they take more time to check eligibility and if you have a couple of countries that you have been to before Canada that adds...

I called IRCC and they informed they are still working on the application, no info on which VO.. does the application time usually take longer for folks with longer experience (more background checks etc?)? Good to see people receiving their COPR though.. good luck to everyone!
