The one near 777 Bay is probably what you need. You can also look up on the Service Ontario website for locations which will serve your specific need - they do have an option online to check for this.

    Indian passport surrender

Great to know, thanks for the quick reply! I will take a look at entry vs e-visa. The sites are a bit all over the place so sometimes it is tough to consolidate all the information in the head. I will mention though, for everyone's benefit here, that I heard in another forum that since Oct 31...

    Indian passport surrender

Is there anyone here who has been able to travel to India recently (i.e. last 10-15 days) on their Canadian passport and surrendered the Indian passport in India to get surrender certificate (and possibly oci application too)? I ask this because of two factors: 1. Bls apparently has started...

May 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. In our case, the eligibility was completed long before this Nov 1 ghost update, and we had the AIP and SA come through before that. So we know we're almost there... what I'm trying to do is gauge when the eCoPR will come. It's been quite the intense climb...

Is there a way to find out what a ghost update might mean? We got a medicals request on Oct 24 and a ghost update on Nov 1, but cannot think of anything that may have caused the ghost update. Any ideas?

Lol, I just noticed the date on the post! Anyway, my response will hopefully help someone else with the same doubts.

Walk in BLS for passport surrender

Better to follow what they're asking for and wait for the Canadian passport. They probably don't want people to be in a situation where people have their Canadian citizenship certificate, waiting for Canadian passport, and Indian passport surrendered, viz., don't have travel documents on hand in...

May 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Thanks, I understand it doesn't affect the application itself but concerned if the sponsor's change in status not reflected in the application could be misconstrued as misrepresentation. I know IRCC requires applicants to inform them of changes in situations for various types of applications; i...

Quick question if anybody here knows. We had applied spousal PR for my spouse in May and back then I was on PR. In the last few weeks, I've become a citizen. Are we supposed to update the spousal PR application through webform about the sponsor's change in status?

Recommended buffer over the 1095 days minimum for the Canadian Citizenship application of a person with lot of travel history. Is 30 days buffer okay?

This is just my personal opinion and not legal advice. I don't think it matters whether you wait 30 more days or 45. I have a colleague who had several visits to the US to meet his brother (probably similar to yours or even more) and that itself made his case officer slow down his processing...

Are old passport designs still being handed out?

Do we get a choice to pick the new vs old while applying for the passport? I mean, if the old one is supposedly more durable, then I'd most certainly prefer it!

    Canadian Passport in person timeline

hey guys, about to apply for my passport in an in-person application between Nov 1st-5th. I'm in downtown so the closest office for me is the one on Victoria St. Strangely, I can't seem to find any appointments there ... anyone who did a walk-in into that office recently, how is their wait...

Got email for oath ceremony on Oct 31. Tracker is still not updated, but at this point it's just a formality i guess... my only question is, does the email with instructions to get the e-certificate come after the ceremony or do I expect it before?

Anyone here who completed bio and got AIP, SA, but waiting for medicals for more than 2 months now (didn't need and didn't apply for SOWP)? Looking at the tracker and thread here there doesn't seem to be any pattern to which our cases are being handled (or not).

Do they take a long time to update test results even if the test window has passed? It will be 5 business days after I gave the test on the last date of my test window, so what happens if the officer takes longer, any idea?
