Hi,
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your timeline.
I was wondering how the stay at home order would affect the submission of passport application? The reason Im asking is that I will be applying as soon as Im receiving my certificate and Im kind of in a rush for an urgent trip.
Thank you! I applied back in October 2019, got the test invitation on January 2021, test completed on 10th Feb, done the interview on 16th March, DM on 17th March, got the oath invitation on 31st March and took the oath today.
Hi,
They actually emailed me but from my understanding some people get the interview invitation via phone calls.
The interview was more of submitted documents and IDs verification.
Hi,
I was wondering if you know exactly how to apply for the passport after receiving the certificate? I’m already aware of the application that needs to be completed and the documents as well, but not sure if the submission could be in person or not. Thank you
Hi,
1. You need to have your PR card and a pair of scissors.
2. Two pieces of government issued ID
3. The form thats been attached to the oath invitation email. If you wish to sign it manually. Or if you want to sign it electronically just follow the steps mentioned in the instructions again at...
Hi,
It was the name of the immigration officer@cic.gc and you could tell from the subject of the email that you are being invited to the oath ceremony obviously.
Hi,
Thank you! The details of the interview was mentioned to be confidential and of course it would be different for everyone. It’s more of verifying the information you’ve provided in your application so just have the originals of the documents you’ve submitted handy.
Good luck.
Hi manug,
I’m not sure what office is processing your application but based on my own experience I guess you should just raise a webform or try calling IRCC.
I got an email from an immigration officer to attend the oath ceremony and it was about 14 business days after I got DM.
