Hello, my parents are also in Canada and visiting me on a visa. Their Visa is expiring soon. Do they need to return to India or can stay here as I have received the file number now? Also, I see that they have sent the file for processing to New Delhi. Should that not ne processed in Canada since...

****UPDATE**** I just received the file number today. They have also confirmed that I am eligible to sponsor my parents. I also tried linking the application but its not working. I will try again in few days.

Birth certificate of parents is only needed if you are also inviting your grandparents to show the relationship proof between your parents and grandparents. If you are just inviting your parents then you need their marriage certificate.

Canada post. Right it was PO box number only and there is no way to confirm where it is now.

I have the same question. My application was received by them around the same time. I used Canada Post. There is no other information and I am concerned if it went to the right place or not.
