Once you fill the passport submission webform and submit it, you should receive an auto reply stating that they confirm the receipt of the webform. Wait for couple of hours. The call center is useless to contact. Mailing passportsubmission@vfshelpline.com and twitter is more effective.

Ideally, you should have informed IRCC why you had to leave Canada for an emergency to India before flying. However, since you are already in India, you can try explaining your situation via webform to IRCC or be quiet and wait for passport submission request and follow the steps for India...

Same. Applied on March 4th early morning. Ref number: 89***. No payment link. Just automated replies. They did reply on Twitter saying that they will send an update via email in 24-48 hrs. 24 hrs are over but no payment link. Hoping for tomorrow.
