Well… You’ve seen it once now. It happened to me just 2 weeks ago. If you have been in Canada for over 6 months since you submitted your application, you may have to provide a Certified Criminal Record Check from RCMP Ottawa before they approve your PR.

I guess it really depends on how busy your local police agency is. Here in Vancouver, you can get appointments the same day via accredited agencies whereas it can take several weeks to get an appointment with a police agency. It might not be the case everywhere though!

Same here, I had just indicated in my background history that I was employed at that company. But I didn’t use it in my work history for CRS points since I got hired a few days before submitting my application (you need 1 year of employment for it to grant points). Not sure that should matter...
