March 13 - Submitted Application for my Parents Until now no update or whatsover, even ghost update none. Their visa is expiring this April 17, so I'm not sure how fast they will process our application. Anyone on the same boat?

I will just update everyone who's on this thread. Parents' visas will expire on April 17. I applied for an extension last March 13. As of the moment no response from IRCC. My future plans is to apply a Supervisa from inside Canada, I know this is not allowed but I've seen successful stories...

Is it right that you applied for Visitor Record Wayback August 2021 and until now no response from your application? Is there any movement or ghost update? Is your parents still here? When does the 6month visa expire?

Hi Guys, I wanted to do the same for my parents. Their both here in Canada. A recent extension for 6months has been approved. And I would like to apply the super visa inside Canada. Just want to clarify, do they need to exit the country just to get a stamp once approved?

Anyone who applies from inside Canada? My parents are under visitor visa right now.

UPDATE: Sorry for the late update. Parents are here now and will stay here for 6months. Also, they are eligible to get the vaccine recognized by Canada (for free). I’ll try to update the key points during their travel from the Philippines upto the Point of Entry (Vancouver).

Where are you applying from? I used the VFS Portal Philippines. There are available dates for biometrics. I am not sure about your location you're applying from.

Update: Parents got their passport. They gave them a 10yrs multiple visa. Travelling to Canada by next week. Will update the thread about about Covid 19 testing etc.

They dont have any travel history. There’s also not much in their account. I submitted my bank account also you should meet the minimum income for 2 people if you’re supporting them. My bank account are just around 5 to 8k if i’m Not mistaken

Exactly, approved in 20days. I’m still waiting for the passport to comeback from stamping. I’ll update this thread once they got it back
