i think its still the same number to call 1888-242-2100. I dont remeber all the exact options, i think the only tricky one is where they ask if you are a CEC applicant or something , or if you want to update your information or, you have to select the first one, the rest should be pretty easy...

yah, so i think they cant have people waiting for more than 30min on the phone. Usually, when that happens, if you just call back right away, it gets connected upon the 2nd or the 3rd try. You can also ask for a call back, so no need to wait on the phone for so long :)

Congrats! Im also in Montreal, also completed my test and waiting for DM. I hope I hear from them soon. Can I ask how you did in the test? Also, do you know if they were running residency and language requirement checks after you completed the test or have they done that before you completed...

The options have changed, but I believe you can still call to get an update on your application. You have to provide your client ID, and also one of the options is a bit tricky (it asks whether you are filing an application for CEC or something like that, and this the option you choose to get...

I dont think you can access the file on ECAS until you get a file number. You probably have to wait for am email from CIC giving you your file number before being able to access the application on ECAS.

Thanks, it's really good to know this. I was getting a bit worried because I saw some people getting DMs just a few weeks after the test. I guess it's normally a longer wait (few months). Hopefully we will hear back soon ..

Sorry to hear that. Yah, it seems that they have a generic response for replying on the application process unfortunately. I hope you hear back soon, I guess. it's going to be a couple of months wait for me ....
