Got the passport request letter today. Wife has a full UK passport (no visa needed) and happened to be here in Canada right now. Based on the wording of the following paragraph from the letter.... it seems like she can bypass the COPR letter and landed virtually? Not sure what that means...

What format does the COPR come in? email? mail?

Received Police Certificate Request today... 8 days after file was moved to Hong Kong from Beijing

Got a message on GCKEY today.... looks like my file was moved to HK from Beijing. Maybe this is AOR2? Last update in ECAS was from March 19, 2021 (We are processing your file).

Yes... we were worried we made a mistake and it would be rejected after 7 months of wait. Hopefully you'll get yours shortly. It does seem to move fast once they start. In the month since we got the AOR, we have already done biometric, medical and sponsor approval, It has been quiet again...

Terrible :( I was early July and only recieved AOR last month. I think the new ones are faster cause they're being scanned on receipt vs the old paper ones that are in a pile waiting. That is my guess anyways.

I have to agree with what others have said here... the agents are just doing their job. There is a standard and if you haven't met it then its up to you to resolve that.

Wow that was fast! I don't disagree with you. My app was received July 2 and we only got AOR 2 weeks ago so hopefully you'll see something in the next week or two.

Having some issues logging into GKEY today as well but once I got it there was a Medical Request waiting (Dated Feb 15, 2021). There was no emails notification for this.

I received the "Biometric Instruction Letter" just now via email.... is this our AOR? Application arrived in Sydney on July 2, 2020 and ths is the first thing we've received to date. If we got this then the applicant won't be returned I assume? Data Point: Email arrived at 3:00PM PST ECAS...

I'm first week of July and still nothing. Had 2 different MPs inquire and they haven't been able to provide anything more than if I had called myself.
