I have received my email requesting passport submission today. The instructions valid for 30 days from today are to submit passport, letter received and 2 photos for all applicants (principal and 1 dependent). However, I am travelling from UK to India on 25th next month and I am concerned if I...

R10 and medicals happen first and the other three can happen simultaneously but it has mostly been observed that Security starts after eligibility passes whereas Criminality happens in multiple stages: your PCC's and Biometrics form part of those.

During eligibility they review the documents you have submitted like ECA/Degree Cert, IELTS/CELPIP, Employment reference (against NOC duties especially) and also your personal history for any discrepancy between your documents and declared history. This is done in two steps: first by an analyst...

Yes, when the agents say Eligibility passed, they mean that the "actual" eligibility is passed. They only ever tell you about criminality and security if you ask about them individually. Otherwise, what they call "background" is a combination of both.

I just caught a ghost update on my profile and funnily enough, as far as I can tell, the only thing that has changed is my name: its now all caps.

The account status on the MyCIC portal is a different beast when compared with how the application is actually processed. The processing has the following components: 1. Completeness Check 2. Medicals 3. Biometrics 4. Eligibility 5. Criminality 6. Security The Criminality is dependent on...

Yes, my BP is mostly in normal range if only a teensy bit higher at around 115-126 and 70-85. I have asked if the hospital can send the report back to CIC by correcting the names. I have also ordered GCMS notes to see if anything is written in there. Is there anything else I can do?

So my medical status has not changed from "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam." even after a call to IRCC. They just asked me to wait for further updates. I contacted my panel physician and got a copy of my results from them to check if there was something else other than the high...

So I called CIC and they wouldn't say anything about why medicals is showing "Reviewing results". Probably because they might not have any further details? The only thing I got is that my file is being processed by CIO, Sydney, NS. Are rumours about that office being too slow to process...

I was thinking of waiting another week to see if there is any movement. If not, I will probably prefer to order GCMS as I see some cases for whom the meds are stuck at reviewing results for months on end. Could someone please help me with any other suggestion, please?

No, x-ray was after BP check. I probably should have gone back after the X-RAY and asked for another BP check. I bought a machine after this test and took reading for the last 1.5 months. Never have I seen diastolic pressure go above 90 although my readings are always elevated around 123 Sys and...

She just mentioned that they might ask further tests. But then I haven't been asked to get that either. It just says reviewing results.

I received a "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" along with BIL. The only issue with my medicals was an unusually high BP (128/94). The doctor said as long as creatinine level was normal, it should be alright. But now that I haven't received MEP, what should I do next? AOR : 24...
