Hello All, I'm a recent PR and need to renew my passport since up for expiry, my parents are visiting me soon while I go in for passport renewal. Will there be police verification for my India address or anything that needs my parents to be home? Should I wait for them to get back to india...

My AOR May 22nd. Requested GCMS in oct Medical and Bio passed nothing else was done Criminality in Progress, everything else not started

Called up IRCC today asking what is happening with my application submitted more than 6 months ago. Mentioned I have not gotten any updates or requests for additional info and the representative said she cannot give any information and "No news is good news" :(
