I followed the same instructions as in that link. I did get an email from Fedex when it was picked up. Like someone mentioned earlier, it just might be that they have certain days for Fedex pickups and I just lucked out that it was the very next day.

Yeah, it's super annoying when I could've literally walked to the Canadian consulate in NY from my home but had to spend over $100 to mail to Ottawa and back. At least in my case it was quick.

My complete timeline: PPR: May 9th Sent to Ottawa: May 11th Received at Ottawa: May 12th Portal Approval: May 19th Fedex Tracking activated: May 20th COPR+Visa received: May 21st

So funnily enough my tracking got activated just a short while after I posted here and I received the COPR the next day. Good luck with yours!

So I had my online portal update its status to Approved with details about my COPR yesterday but my Fedex tracking still hasn't been activated. Has anyone else faced something similar?

I believe it was something along the lines of "Background check is in progress."

I did get emails stating that "We successfully received your document for <Application Number>". That was about a week before the PPR. And on the same day the background check section on the online portal had been updated to "We are processing your background check".

Nope, no reply from the webform submission at all. Other than the canned response of 'We're experiencing a high volume of requests, we'll respond when we can...'

Me too. Just saw a ghost update today. Got excited before I remembered I'd sent an address change webform a couple of weeks ago. It looks like they've abandoned all US applicants after March 2020.
