Has anybody been refused PR because they are not working with the same employer they applied with? I’m asking because I have a friend who applied before Covid and got laid off from the job as they closed down but is currently working somewhere else

Is it advisable to do your medical ahead of time? I applied in August and was thinking of doing my medicals in January. I have not yet heard back but I wanted to be ready when asked.

If a person applied and submitted their application and got laid off from the job months later due to the pandemic, does anyone know if they will be declined? Thank you
